EXBOX.MIDICOM is a serial MADI embedder and de-embedder that transports serial and MIDI communication over MADI, useful for the control of remote devices, mic preamps etc.
Two SC fibre MADI I/Os facilitate the looping of the device into a two-way MADI connection while simultaneously processing both a MIDI and a serial signal.

• Bit transparent if no embedding is required
• No latency between input and output when MADI signal processed
• RS-232 and RS-422/485 compliant – serial data embedded in MADI user bits 1 – 9
• MIDI over MADI compliant – MIDI data embedded in MADI user bit 56
• Includes two Hirose sockets for up to two external power supplies or battery backs for redundancy
• Compatible with serial transport for Studer and Soundcraft products
• Compatible with MIDI transport for RME products
